Coming together in a time of uncertainty and challenge, a new generation of American poets have something to say about their world. This HBO series follows the stories of six teams of teenage poets as they compete in verbal battle with squads from all over the U.S. Their goal: to make it to Washington, D.C. for the National Slam Poetry championship called Brave New Voices.
