Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds

In this one-hour stand-up comedy special, taped before a live audience at the Vic Theatre in Chicago, Pete Holmes brings his unique brand of happy-go-lucky comedy to HBO, sharing hilarious and relatable insights on a number of subjects, including: the concept of sleep and nightmares; unexpected moments of comedy while traveling; quirks of the English language; how Brits deal with awkward situations; why he wears a specific T-shirt while flying; the fundamentally weird aspects of sex, porn and strip clubs; and more.

Pete Holmes also created and stars in Crashing, the HBO comedy series from executive producer Judd Apatow. Holmes hosts the popular podcast You Made It Weird, which features a wide range of guests, including comedians, musicians, writers and actors, and previously hosted the cable program The Pete Holmes Show. He has also appeared on Conan and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, as well as starring in two cable comedy specials.
