Ed Asner (Warren Buffett) has amassed a tremendous list of credits and accolades over the span of his extensive career. He has more than 100 television credits, making a mark on the television landscape with his iconic role as Lou Grant on both landmark series The Mary Tyler Moore Show and Lou Grant, for which he earned five Emmy� Awards and four Golden Globe Awards. Asner also starred in the groundbreaking miniseries Roots, which garnered him two Emmy� Awards, and Rich Man, Poor Man which earned him a Golden Globe Award. Serving as the National President of the Screen Actors Guild for two terms, Asner was inducted into the TV Academy Hall of Fame in 1996 and received both the Ralph Morgan Award and Lifetime Achievement Award from SAG. His numerous guest appearances include roles on CSI: New York, for which he received an Emmy� nomination, HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm and Arli$$, ER, The Practice and a recurring role on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. He has also lent his voice to popular animated shows such as The Cleveland Show, The Simpsons, Spider-Man and The Boondocks. Asner's numerous film credits include the Academy Award�-winning Up, Gigantic, Elf, JFK, They Call me MISTER Tibbs! and Fort Apache, The Bronx, as well as Off the Rack, The Bronx Zoo and Thunder Alley.
