Malcolm Gets has enjoyed a rich and varied career in theater, television and film, as well as in concert halls across America. He has been nominated for the Tony and Drama Desk Award, and is a recipient of the Obie.
His New York stage credits include Steve, Allegro, Macbeth, Amour, The Story of My Life, The Moliere Comedies, A New Brain, Merrily We Roll Along, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Hello Again, Allegro, Polish Joke, Finian's Rainbow, as well as The Boys from Syracuse, The Apple Tree, and Irma La Douce, all for the Encores! Series.
He portrayed Richard, the tortured artist for four (very happy) years on NBC's Caroline in the City. Other television credits include Elementary, The Good Wife, Blue Bloods, Law and Order, Remember WENN and HBO's Emmy-winning Grey Gardens, opposite Jessica Lange. His film credits include Miles, Outliving Emily, Sex and the City, Love in the Time of Money and Adam and Steve.
Gets made his Carnegie Hall debut opposite Barbara Cook in her Mostly Sondheim concert, available on DRG Records. He has sung on many original cast CDs, and his first solo album, The Journey Home ("a lovely, highly listenable class act of a CD"-- Talkin' Broadway) is available on ITunes and Amazon.
