What’s New on HBO in September

As you say goodbye to summer this month, say hello to some amazing series and movies now available on HBO and HBO Max. From family night movie Spies in Disguise to based-on-a-true-story film Just Mercy and award-winning documentary When We Were Kings, our September lineup has something for everyone.

See new episodes of Lovecraft Country and get ready for the premiere of Luca Guadagnino's We Are Who We Are; limited series The Third Day, with Jude Law and Naomie Harris; and the premiere of the HBO Special Coastal Elites, a socially distanced satire starring Bette Midler, Kaitlyn Dever, Dan Levy, Sarah Paulson, and Issa Rae.

Keep reading below to get the full list of what’s coming and what’s leaving (like ‘90s favorites
The Little Rascals and Mrs. Doubtfire) on HBO in September.
