- 1
Maeve channels a new skill.
Maeve, Hector, Lee, Armistice, Lutz and Sylvester find themselves held captive in Shogun World: a park adjacent to Westworld that’s based on Japan’s Edo period. It’s in this new world that Maeve discovers an untapped skill: the ability to non-verbally command hosts. Now armed with her new “voice,” she’s more powerful than ever.

- 2
Dolores channels full Wyatt.
Dolores returns to Sweetwater with a mission — repair the train to rescue her father at the Mesa. Despite her affection for Teddy, Dolores doesn’t believe he will survive the impending battle. She orders a Delos tech to forcibly adjust Teddy’s characteristics without fear of the consequences.

- 3
Westworld hosts’ backups are gone.
While doing damage control in the Mesa, tech Antoine Costa informs Karl Strand that a third of hosts have been wiped clean of data — it’s as if they never held data to begin with. And worse, “the Cradle” has been severely damaged: the hosts’ backups cannot be recovered.
