Outward Bound for Veterans helps thousands of returning service members and recent veterans readjust to life at home through powerful wilderness courses that draw on the healing benefit of teamwork and challenge through use of the natural world.

Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America

IAVA is the country’s first and largest nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to improving the lives of Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families. Military OneSource is a free service provided by the U.S. Department of Defense for active duty Guard and Reserve and their families. If you’re a veteran and have concerns related to readjusting to civilian life, you can call 1-877-WAR-VETS (927-8387). The Department of Veterans also offers PTSD programs throughout the country that offer education, evaluation, and treatment.
