Vikram Gandhi

Vikram Ghandi is the award-winning journalist and director of fiction and non-fiction films. His latest film Barry, a narrative based on Barack Obama's college years, premiered to critical acclaim at the Toronto International Film Festival, and was distributed by Netflix Originals in December 2016. His first film, Kumar�, in which he impersonates a religious leader and creates a following of real people, won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at South By Southwest 2011, and has maintained an international cult following. Vikram has appeared on the Colbert Report, Nightline, Al Jazeera's The Stream, and numerous NPR programs. Vikram has worked on VICE on HBO as a Producer since Season 1, and as a Correspondent since Season 2, exploring terrorism, gang violence, climate change, black markets and other breaking news stories.
