Julia Louis-Dreyfus will need to make more room on her mantle. The star and executive producer of Veep has been selected to receive the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor.
The award, which “recognizes people who have had an impact on American society” like its namesake, honors Louis-Dreyfus for her highly-acclaimed work on Veep, Seinfeld, The New Adventures of Old Christine, and SNL among other credits.
The Kennedy Center will host the gala performance celebrating Louis-Dreyfus on October 21.
