Bill Maher: Live From Oklahoma

Bill Maher will be bringing his stand-up show to screens this summer with when he appears on stage from Tulsa in Bill Maher: Live From Oklahoma. The special is Maher’s 11th solo show on HBO, and airs July 7.

“The paradox of my life is, the more horrifying the country under Trump becomes, the more fun we have at my stand-up shows — I guess it’s a release, or whistling past the graveyard, or a primal scream,” notes Maher. “They want me to be mean, and I am. Half of this show is about Trump, but I am determined to make half of it about me — my way of saying, ‘Trump, you don’t get to win!’”

Maher hosts Real Time with Bill Maher, now in its 16th season on the network. The weekly series features his unique perspective on contemporary issues, with an opening monologue, roundtable discussions with panelists and interviews with guests. Additionally, he is the executive producer of news series VICE, currently in its sixth season.

Bill Maher: Live From Oklahoma is executive produced by Bill Maher, Beth McCarthy-Miller, Marc Gurvitz and Neal Marshall; directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller.
