Played By Kathrine Narducci
Kathrine Narducci is best known for playing Charmaine Bucco for 9 seasons in the award winning HBO series The Sopranos for which she won two Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Cast Ensemble.
Kathrine started her career in 1993 when she attended an open call for Robert DeNiro's directorial debut, A Bronx Tale. She beat out 2,500 actresses to play Rosina Anello, Robert DeNiro's wife in the film. From there, she studied acting with Susan Batson & Thomas Waites. Kathrine then signed with an agent and landed a role opposite Sir Richard Attenborough in the remake of Miracle on 34th Street. While living in New York, she began booking guest star roles on Law & Order, NYPD Blue, recurring roles on Third Watch and many other television shows. She also co-starred in director Raymond De Felitta’s Sundance Audience Award winning film Two Family House, opposite James Gandolfini.
In 2011 Kathrine moved to Los Angeles where she guest starred on shows such as Hung, Workaholics, Without a Trace, Cold Case, and a recurring role on In Plain Sight. She also starred in indie films The Last Gamble, American Cuisine, comedy Group Sex, Blue, and Ink (directed by Academy Award Winner Marianne Jean Baptiste). She also wrote and directed a short film, Dante’s World which garnered a number of indie awards.
Kathrine continues to grace the big and small screen. In her more recent work, she played U.S. attorney Frankie Lavarro in the STARZ gritty, urban drama series Power and co-starred in Clint Eastwood’s Jersey Boys as Mary Rinaldi, young Frankie Valli’s mother. She has worked on Blue Bloods and the features American Dresser (w/ Gina Gershon, Bruce Dern, & Penelope Ann Miller), and Cruise (w/ Emily Ratajkowski & Spencer Boldman).
Up next she will appear in Fonzo directed by Josh Trank opposite Tom Hardy and Bricklayers Poet in which she stars opposite Joe Maruzzo.
