William Shakespeare's tragedy of jealousy and deceit is updated in this film that places the story in a Southern prep school. Odin James, or O, is a popular black basketball star who has talent, looks and a girlfriend, Desi. Tired of playing second fiddle, O's treacherous teammate Hugo tells him that Desi has been cheating. The depth of O's rage leads to a tragic climax.
