Philip Baker Hall (McKenzie) has been honored with the prestigious John Cassavetes Award for his body of work. Hall’s film credits include “Argo,” for which he shared the SAG Award for Best Ensemble, “People Like Us,” “50/50,” “Mr. Popper’s Penguins,” “All Good Things,” the “Rush Hour” franchise, “Zodiac,” “In Good Company,” “Bruce Almighty,” “Dogville,” “The Contender,” “The Talented Mr. Ripley,” “The Insider,” “Cradle Will Rock,” “Psycho,” “Enemy of the State,” “The Truman Show,” “Air Force One,” “The Rock,” “Hard Eight,” which earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Male Lead, “Say Anything,” “Three O’Clock High” and “How I Got Into College.” Hall also shared SAG Award nominations for Best Ensemble for “Magnolia” and “Boogie Nights.” He will be seen in the upcoming releases “Bad Words” and “A Many Splintered Thing.”

Hall’s TV credits include “The Loop” and recurring roles on “The Practice” and Boston Legal,” and he was more recently seen on “Modern Family” and HBO’s “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” On the stage, Hall gained considerable attention for his portrayal of Richard Nixon in the Donald Freed one-man play “Secret Honor.” His other credits include “All My Sons,” “Death of a Salesman,” “The Crucible,” “Short Eyes” and “The Petrified Forest.”
