Determined to impress his visiting ex-girlfriend Trudy and prove that she made a mistake by leaving him, Stuart gets a Russian model to pose as his girlfriend for a double date. When she cancels at the last minute, Stuart convinces his roommate Jessica to accompany him--a ruse that takes them to a swanky, star-studded LA hills house party, and leads to an unexpected denouement.
