J.J. Abrams’ New Sci-Fi Drama Headed to HBO


Westworld producer J.J. Abrams will continue to build upon his relationship with HBO by bringing his latest series, Demimonde, to the network. Described as an epic and intimate fantasy series, Demimonde will focus on a world’s battle against a monsterous, oppressive force.

Along with Westworld, Abrams partnered with HBO for the recently announced Lovecraft Country, which will be executive produced by Get Out director Jordan Peele.

The Star Wars:The Force Awakens director is the creator of past television series Alias (2001) and Felicity (1998) and co-creator of Lost (2004) and Fringe (2008). He will executive produce Demimonde along with Bad Robot’s Ben Stephenson.
