Best Friends Network - Puppy Mill Initiatives

This nonprofit, membership organization builds no-kill programs and partnerships that aim to bring about a day when there are No More Homeless Pets.  The society's leading initiatives in animal care and community programs are coordinated from its Kanab, Utah, headquarters, the country's largest no-kill sanctuary.  This work is made possible by the support of a grassroots network of members and community partners across the nation.

No More Tears Rescue

Founded by Madonna of the Mills Laura Flynn Amato, this Non-Profit Organization rescues puppymill dogs from breeding factories. All dogs are vetted, socialized, and adopted into permanent homes.

United Against Puppy Mills

This not-for-profit advocacy group is dedicated to raising awareness about the cycle of cruelty associated with commercial breeding and to educate consumers about the pet shop/puppy mill chain of abuse. Comprised entirely of volunteers wishing to affect positive change for the dogs, initiatives include legislative campaigns to change laws, zoning endeavors and public awareness events geared toward educating the public. 

Mainline Rescue

Featured in the film, Main Line Animal Rescue (MLAR) is a no-kill animal shelter based in the Chester Springs, PA area, outside of Philadelphia.
