Further, it empowers frontline human rights defenders and civic activists to uphold fundamental rights and advance democratic change.

National Election Defense Coalition

The NEDC is a national network of recognized experts in cybersecurity and elections administration, bipartisan policymakers as well as concerned citizens and movement-builders. It is working to build bipartisan consensus on the need for reform while creating a comprehensive, cost-effective plan to secure the vote in coming elections.

Verified Voting

The Verified Voting Foundation is a non-partisan, non-profit organization championing accessible, reliable and publicly verifiable elections. Founded by Stanford University Computer Science Professor David Dill, the organization supports a requirement for voter-marked, voter-verified paper ballots so voters can verify their ballots were marked as they intended and election officials can conduct meaningful audits and recounts. 

Brennan Center

The Brennan Center for Justice at the NYU School of Law is a non-partisan law and policy institute that works to reform, revitalize – and when necessary, defend – our country's systems of democracy and justice. In order to defend elections, the center advocates for a comprehensive plan to upgrade technology and protect election integrity.

The Atlantic Council is a non-profit, non-partisan organization focused on shaping policy choices and strategies to create a more free, secure and prosperous world. 

The Coalition For Good Governance 

The Coalition for Good Governance focuses on constitutional liberties and the individual rights of citizens, with emphasis on First Amendment Rights, elections, government transparency and accountability, open records and open meetings, due process and equal protection of the laws.

The mission of this nonpartisan, nonprofit, grassroots organization is to restore the core values of American democracy, reinvent an open, honest and accountable government that serves the public interest, and empower ordinary people to make their voices heard in the political process.

 

Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law

This nonprofit organization seeks to secure equal justice for all through the rule of law, targeting in particular the inequities confronting African Americans and other racial and ethnic minorities.
