Srisaket Sor Rungvisai

The Thai southpaw rocketed from unknown to Superfly champ.

Srisaket Sor Rungvisai’s talent was largely unknown to fans stateside before his appearance on the undercard of the 2017 fight between Gennady Golovkin and Daniel Jacobs undercard — his first fight in the US.

Sor Rungvisai’s victory over the then-undefeated Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez established him as a fighter on the rise. He was overwhelming in his next fight, a rematch against the one-time pound-for-pounder, which he won by decisive knockout. With his place among super flyweights secure, Sor Rungvisai can set his sights on being recognized as one of boxing’s pound-for-pound best.
