"I want you to treasure the moment of the phone call..." Goddard Fulton
Synopsis
In her debut as Ophelia, Jen learns that the show must go on even when there is just one person left in the audience. Still, her career makes progress with her first break on television an extra role on Yes, Dear stepped up to a speaking part by new friend Mike O'Malley. Krista is outraged when a casting director insults her son, but her magnificent vivisection of the offender is wasted when she storms into the wrong office and insults the wrong person-who happens to be meeting with director Sam Mendes. She later tries to edit the sexy stuff out of her 17-minute clip reel and is depressed to have only a minute and a half left.
Bryan finally gets tired of Nick worming his way into his auditions and sets him up with a "special" casting session-one that that requires biker shorts. But the acrimony is soon forgotten when Bryan gets the call he's been dreaming of a television series wants him as a series regular, and he's headed to North Carolina.
