 Episode 03

"Well, that needs a lot of rehearsal." Hamlet Director
Synopsis
Jennifer's financial fortunes take a turn for the worse, and she considers selling her eggs to raise gas money. She tells Goddard that she is going to have to give up class, but the teacher tells her that he'll find her some work. "I don't want to lose what you bring to this class," he says.
Bryan gets himself in one uncomfortable situation after another, getting busted by a casting agent for his padded resume and losing $470 while insulting the host at Hank Azaria's weekly poker game. He also finds himself spending more time with Krista and bonding with her son.
Though the casting calls keep coming for her son Jake, Krista's career seems on the same arc as Bryan's, as she accidentally mistakes a casting agent's mole for an Ash Wednesday smudge. She is conflicted about her romantic relationship with Goddard and about Jake's burgeoning career. "I don't know if I don't want him to do it because I'm concerned, or because I'm jealous," she tells Bryan.
Meanwhile Jen has secured a two-week part as Ophelia in the Tamarind Theatre's iffy production of Hamlet. She also manages to sit in Brad Pitt's chair while serving as a stand-in for Angelina Jolie and fails to recognize director Doug Limon on the set.
