Make It Right Charity Concert House of Blues

Five years after Hurricane Katrina, there's still plenty of rebuilding to do. And on August 28, David Simon and the rest of the 'Treme' family will mark the anniversary of the tragic storm with a benefit concert at the House of Blues in New Orleans. A range of NOLA-loving artists will perform (including John Boutte, Lloyd Price, Kermit Ruffins, Coco Robicheaux, Paul Sanchez and more), and proceeds from the event will go to Make It Right, an organization that builds safe and sustainable homes in the city's Lower Ninth Ward.

"Make It Right has had a singular impact on addressing the housing needs of New Orleans after Katrina, particularly in the 9th Ward.  The cast and crew of Treme are proud to be doing whatever we can to assist in those efforts," says David Simon, creator and executive producer of 'Treme.'

Tickets are on sale through Live Nation, including VIP tickets that also provide admission to the show's after-party at House of Blues' restaurant and Voodoo Garden.
