A former Baltimore Sun night editor, much beloved by his reporters, Wilson is an effective manager, an honest voice and a disciplined teammate who knows the players, angles and strategies to give Carcetti his best chance of surviving City Hall. Of course, that doesn't mean he voted for the man.
