Julito McCullum, a Brooklyn native, has had an extraordinary two years. He began acting at the age of 13, and has not stopped since. He is currently filming the HBO series, The Wire, and television audiences will be able to see him portray Namond Brice beginning in the fall of 2006. Other television credits include Lafayette, the starring role on Miracle's Boys, a 6 part miniseries on The N Network directed by Spike Lee, Bill Duke, Levar Burton, Ernest Dickerson and Nema Barnet, and recurring role on the CBS series Hack. Julito also appeared in the Emmy nominated TNT Movie of the Week, The Wool Cap, where he starred opposite William H. Macy and Keke Palmer. Julito will next be seen starring with Angela Basset and Lawrence Fishburne in Lion's Gate's feature film Akeelah and The Bee. Other feature film credits include Preaching to the Choir, God's Forgotten House, and Parting Words. Julito has appeared in numerous commercials including the Nike/Michael Jordan 20th Anniversary spot directed by Spike Lee. When Julito is not acting he is working on his upcoming rap album. Julito is a professional dancer, and performs in videos and shows around the Tri-state area. He has been an MTV favorite, and he has won contests for rapping and hip hop.
