Ron Yerxa

Ron Yerxa formed Bona Fide Productions with Albert Berger in 1993. Their producing credits include Alexander Payne’s 'Election' and his recent Oscar-nominated film 'Nebraska,' Stephen Soderbergh’s 'King of the Hill,' Anthony Minghella’s 'Cold Mountain,' Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris’s 'Little Miss Sunshine' and 'Ruby Sparks,' and Todd Field’s 'Little Children' among others.

Yerxa’s executive producing credits include the Wilco documentary 'I Am Trying to Break Your Heart,' the Levon Helm documentary 'Ain’t in It for My Health,' and the soon to be released 'Baltimore in Black and White.'

Bona Fide also recently completed 'Low Down,' starring John Hawkes, Elle Fanning and Glenn Close. It premiered in competition at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival and will be released by Oscilloscope Laboratories. Their upcoming projects include 'Louder Than Bombs,' to be directed by Joachim Trier, and 'The Only Living Boy in New York,' to be directed by Marc Webb.

After graduating from Stanford University, Yerxa worked as a journalist and teacher before receiving a graduate degree from the UC Santa Cruz. He started his film career at CBS before becoming an independent producer.
