Emily Meade recently finished her professional stage debut in Lincoln Center's 'Domesticated,' opposite Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Goldblum.

Later this year, Meade will be seen as the lead in the independent film 'Me Him Her' directed by Max Landis. Other recent films include the comedies 'Sleepwalk With Me' from Mike Birbiglia, 'Thanks For Sharing' opposite Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow, and 'Sin Bin' with Bo Burnham.

Emily is best known for her recurring role of "Pearl" in the first season of HBO's hit series 'Boardwalk Empire,' executive produced by Martin Scorsese. She also starred in a gritty break out lead role in Joel Schumacher's 'Twelve,' opposite Chase Crawford and Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.

Meade was recently awarded the Karlovy Vary Award for Best Actress for her work in the independent film 'Bluebird,' which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.

Other film and television credits include the indie films 'Gimme Shelter' with Rosario Dawson and Vanessa Hudgens, 'That Awkward Moment' starring Zach Efron, Wes Craven's 'My Soul to Take,' 'Assassination of a High School President' starring Bruce Willis, 'Burning Palms' with Dylan McDermott and Rosamund Pike, 'The House Is Burning' executive produced by Wim Wenders, the Fox series 'Fringe,' and numerous episodes of the 'Law & Order' series.

Meade was born and raised in Manhattan and is a graduate of the LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts.
