FAQ

When will "The Sopranos®: Road To Respect™" be available?
"The Sopranos®: Road To Respect™ " hits shelves on November 7, 2006 for the PlayStation2 console, and early 2007 for the Xbox 360. Pre-orders will be available in the fall at the HBO.com store and other online retailers.

How does the game relate to the show's storylines?
The Sopranos® creator David Chase, in collaboration with THQ and HBO, created a new story available only in the game. You'll work with your favorite characters from the show as you attempt to earn the family's respect. The game is set between Seasons Five and Six.

What kinds of activities will players participate in?
The game goes deep into the world of The Sopranos®, including interaction with the show's top characters in familiar locations, such as the Bada Bing!, Nuovo Vesuvio and Satriale's. The player will achieve success and gain admiration from the family through: punishing specialty combat moves, dynamic verbal intimidation, or "any means necessary" using ordinary objects as weapons or items in the environment to inflict damage to devastating effect.

Who from the show is involved in the game?
"The Sopranos®: Road to Respect™" game will feature the voices and likenesses of the show's top talent: Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini), Paulie Walnuts (Tony Sirico), Christopher Moltisanti (Michael Imperioli), Silvio Dante (Steven Van Zandt), Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero (Vincent Pastore), Vito Spatafore (Joseph Gannascoli), and Anthony Soprano, Jr. (Robert Iler). The show's creator, David Chase, collaborated on the concept and story, and THQ and HBO are excited to translate the multi-award winning series into a compelling gaming experience.

Who is the main player character?
Players assume the role of Joey LaRocca, the illegitimate son of Sal "Big Pussy" Bonpensiero. After the disappearance of his father, Joey took a bit of a wayward path before Tony Soprano set him straight and took him under his wing. Over time, Joey has worked his way on to Paulie Walnuts' crew, but despite Tony's vote of confidence, Joey still faces a lot of animosity from the crew for being "the rat's bastard."

Will a show based mainly on family drama translate well into strong gameplay?
The game, like the show, captures the visceral violence and intense side of the "life of crime". As an enforcer in Tony's crew, you will be charged with collections, intimidation, and sometimes brutal acts of violence on your path to becoming a "made" man. Our goal is to capture the experience of working for the Sopranos, and being an integral part of the violent acts that occur in the show.
