"Here's what I found on this Cifaretto guy. He seems like a predatory SOB, but his rap sheet is sketchy. A joyride or two as a kid, an assault with a baseball bat in his early 20's that didn't stick, a concealed gun charge that did, six months prob." |

We do know that he grew up in West Orange, went to West Orange High School a couple of years before Der Bingle, but dropped out tin 11th grade. The story was that he had to help his arthritic mama, but get this- Agent XXXXXXX actually knew him at West Orange and says that's BS. Cifaretto split, he says, to avoid heat re a mysterious boating "accident" where a local hot-to-trot coed drown. No one pressed charges. Lucky Ralph.
We know he got married- ex-wife named Ronnie Capozza - and had a son, Justin.
Cifaretto left town in the late 80's, we think, and relocated in Florida. We don't know why, but given his penchant for administering pain, maybe he was laying low. Suddenly he's back right after Richie Aprile goes bye-bye, shacking up with Jackie Aprile's widow, Rosalie, and popping up at Tony's picnics.
He's trouble, this one.
UPDATE:
It appears that things had been going well for Cifaretto, professionally. When Gigi Cestone suffered a fatal heart attack, Cifaretto was promoted to capo of his crew. By all reports, Capo Cifaretto has done well, at least financially. In addition to his "regular" earnings, he owned a racehorse that had some success; he later collected two hundred thousand dollars in insurance money when the animal died in a stable fire. (Arson investigation of the incident was inconclusive.)
Personally, things have not gone well for Cifaretto. His relationship with Rosalie Aprile ended, after which he was briefly linked with Tony Soprano's sister, Janice. His latest romantic involvement was with a civilian named Valentina La Paz. Also, his 12-year-old son, Justin was critically injured in an accident involving a bow and arrow; the boy may never fully recover.
Cifaretto's current whereabouts are unknown. He hasn't been seen in months. While it seems unlikely that he would skip out on his son, very little is beyond the pale with this guy. Rumors regarding his disappearance are rampant. We hope something comes to light soon.
