"John Sacrimoni, otherwise know as Johnny Sack, early 50's, a longtime business ally of the DiMeo\Soprano family, only a sporadic presence in New Jersey. By all accounts he is New York-based and we believe reports to one Carmine Lupertazzi, but we do not know his New York family connection." |

Sacrimoni's wife, Ginny, is a former professional dancer but now suffers from a weight problem. They have children, number and names unknown, and Ginny apparently has sisters living in New Jersey. The Sacrimonis maintain a residence in Manhattan and a vacation condo at Point Pleasant.
Sack appears to be an emissary between the Sopranos and New York and is believed involved with the Sopranos and others in industry-wide corruption activities involving construction, unions, and political payoffs. Sacrimoni is often consulted in both internal Soprano disputes and matters involving territorial conflicts. However freestanding the Sopranos appear, they need New York approval for certain acts, i.e., whacking someone. Sacrimoni is then guy to take that call.
It is hard to spot any weaknesses. A supremely skilled and shrewd operator, adept at exploiting the Sopranos with out offending them. His Achilles heel could be his wife and children. His wife is borderline obese and obesity invites diabetes, high blood pressure, etc. Were she to become ill, he'll probably want to be with her and not up river, which may be grounds for cooperation.
UPDATE:
A potentially important development: Sacrimoni has bought a house in Essex County, apparently his new primary residence. Why would a high-ranking member of the New York family decide to move to New Jersey? And how do the Sopranos feel about it? By all outward appearances, relations between New York and New Jersey have remained cordial, but maybe they'll find out that it takes good fences - or the Hudson River - to make good neighbors.
