Jenkins has established himself a most impressive list of film credits over the years. His most recent include: "Man Who Wasn't There" (2001), "One Night at McCools," (2001) and "Say It Isn't So" (2001) as well as "There's Something About Mary," "The Mod Squad," "Absolute Power" and "Flirting With Disaster," for which he was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. Other film credits include, "The Indian and the Cupboard," "Trapped in Paradise," "It Could Happen To You," "How To Make An American Quilt", "The Witches of Eastwick" and "Stealing Home." He was recently seen in "Random Hearts", with Harrison Ford and Kristin Scott-Thomas; "Me, Myself and Irene," with Jim Carrey; and the Mike Nichols' film "What Planet Are You From" with Garry Shandling. On television, Jenkins has starred in the television movies "Into Thin Air: Death on Everest," "The Boys Next Door" and "The Band Played On." He has also made appearances on "Spenser: For Hire" and "Miami Vice." Jenkins was born in Dekalb, Illinois. For four years he was the artistic director of the Trinity Repertory Company in Providence, Rhode Island.
