Mathew St. Patrick came to Los Angeles in 1995 to pursue his dream of becoming an actor. After a year and one-half of doing extra work and paying his bills through waiting tables, bartending and personal training, Mathew landed his first leading role in his first play, Full Court Press. His career has been growing ever since. Guest roles on hit television shows include: NYPD Blue, Beverly Hills 90210, Moesha and Diagnosis: Murder and helped Mathew earn the role of "Detective Taggart" on General Hospital. In 1998 he moved to New York for the contract role as "Adrian Sword" on ABC's award winning daytime drama All My Children.
In 2000, Mathew landed the role of "Keith Charles" on HBO's Six Feet Under. He has enjoyed developing the complexities of Keith from the moral barometer of the show into a complicated character of real depth. Mathew views his five seasons on the show as a "roller-coaster of challenges and thrills for the character of Keith. From losing his job as a respected, police officer to taking the step down to neighborhood security detail and ultimately rising again into high-profile, personal security." He adds, "It has been an honor to play such a dynamic character committed to keeping himself and his relationships strong."
