Summary: 'The Sound of Music' may not seem like a natural fit for India's most populous city, but the Bombay Chamber Orchestra begs to differ. Recruiting children from the slums of Mumbai, the Orchestra sets out to stage a choral performance of the beloved Rodgers & Hammerstein musical. The result is a heartwarming film that follows the young singers as they practice for their once-in-a-lifetime performance with particular focus on 11-year-old Ashish, a boy whose wide smile and optimism defy his family's humble situation.
