Summary: They are real-life superheroes: everyday citizens who don homemade masks and costumes and vow to protect the innocent and bring evildoers to justice. This film delves into the often-eccentric world of these flesh-and-blood crusaders who take to the streets armed with utility belts, stun guns and a sense of moral purpose. Some of the heroes profiled include: "Mr. Xtreme," the San Diego-based founder and sole member of the Xtreme Justice League; "Zimmer," an unmasked, openly gay superhero from Brooklyn; and "Master Legend," who hands out toys to needy kids in Orlando.
