Summary: In the Bialik-Rogozin School in Tel Aviv, children from diverse backgrounds all over the world come together to learn. Winner of the 2010 Oscar(R) for Best Documentary Short Subject, this compelling film follows several students as they acclimate to life in a new land, while slowly opening up to share their stories of fleeing poverty, political adversity and even genocide in their home countries. These students include: Johannes, an Eritrean who spent most of his young life in refugee camps; Esther, who fled South Africa with her father after the murder of her mother; and Mohammed, a 16-year-old refugee from Darfur.
