Summary: Director Carl Reiner plays on the greats in this comedic take on a 'Fatal Attraction,' 'Basic Instinct' and 'Body Heat.' What starts as a "pseudonoir" (Ebert) quickly turns to toilet-paper-on-shoe gags when two women try to seduce down-on-his luck Ned Ravine, a cop and lawyer. Ravine's secretary awaits her husband's release from prison while Ned fends off his wife's attempts to take him out. A not-to-be-missed ensemble cast brings out the best as Ned navigates a wife, secretary and mistress. With Armand Assante, Sherilyn Fenn, Kate Nelligan, Sean Young and Tony Randall.
