Summary: A disagreement threatens to shatter the dreams of two best friends who run a street-dancing troupe that's about to get its shot at the big time. Elgin and David perform with their dance troupe at a local club and supplement their lack of income by doing "odd jobs" for a shady crime boss. The pair are the closest of friends...until David pursues Elgin's attractive younger sister Liyah. Things take a turn for the worse when Elgin encounters trouble on a job while David is with Liyah. Can the pair get past their differences in time for the troupe to compete in a big MTV dance-off whose winner gets $50,000 and a spot in a Lil' Kim video?
