Summary: A suburban Seattle family hires a live-in nanny with malicious motives in this thriller. Claire and Michael Bartel live a simple life with their daughter Emma and a baby on the way, until Claire is violated by her doctor during a routine physical. When she comes forward, the doctor kills himself leaving his pregnant wife Peyton behind with his lawsuits. After she miscarries, Peyton plots revenge against the Bartels, poses as a nanny and manipulates her way into Claire and Michael's household determined to destroy their comfortable lives.
