Summary: Fran proudly moves the family into a new home, but Gary loses his job as the crab season ends. The rec center basketball team loses every game and has no coach, yet the team goes to the playoffs, where DeAndre curses the referee and refuses to pay a fine (they lose). At least he's attempting to get a legit job away from the corner, explaining "I can't be locked up when my baby is born." Clean for three months, she almost gets a job at a department store--until the manager remembers she once shoplifted there. Having made up with Tyreeka, DeAndre gets a job at Wendy's, while his mother gets a job at a factory two hours away. Fran has taken up with Marvin, a man she met at a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.
