Summary: This uproarious remake of the classic 1978 French farce "La Cage aux Folles" "serves up pure pleasure from beginning to end" (Variety). Armand and Albert are an openly gay couple who own a Miami drag club. But their flamboyant lifestyle is shaken when Armand's son from a long-ago one-night-stand announces that he's going to marry the daughter of an ultra-conservative U.S. senator. And when they learn that the senator and his wife are on their way over for dinner, the long-time lovers have to play it straight and pass themselves off as normal.
