Summary: They've been squished, sprayed, torched by magnifying glasses and banned from picnics everywhere. Now the much-maligned ants want to teach humans a lesson that one unsuspecting boy will never forget. Bullied 10-year-old Lucas takes his resentment out on a large colony in his front yard with a garden hose--and gets the shock of a lifetime when the highly evolved ants shrink him down to their size and school him in the hard-knock life of being an insect. Julia Roberts, Nicolas Cage, Meryl Streep, Paul Giamatti, Regina King, Bruce Campbell and Lily Tomlin head up the voice cast in this "visually dazzling" (Variety) animated film.
