Summary: Stockard Channing, Will Smith and Donald Sutherland are superb in this adaptation of John Guare's award-winning play. Smith plays a young con artist named Paul who shows up at the luxurious apartment of an affluent New York couple, claiming to be the son of movie star Sidney Poitier and a college friend of their children. Charming his way into their privileged lives, Paul has a surprising effect on his hosts and their socialite friends, until his story starts to unravel, resulting in both a biting social commentary and an "elegantly hilarious comedy of manners" (Rolling Stone).
