Summary: The sinister and seductive world of high-stakes underground poker games in private New York clubs is explored in this film the New York Times called "mischievously entertaining." Matt Damon stars as a law student who quits gambling after losing his life savings to a shady Russian card shark. But he's drawn back into the game when his best buddy (Edward Norton) gets out of jail and promptly gets in over his head with some ruthless mobsters.
