Summary: Four young Missouri rebels band together to battle the Union during the U.S. Civil War in this historical drama from director Ang Lee ('Brokeback Mountain'). Tobey Maguire and Skeet Ulrich star as friends and Bushwhackers: young pro-South riflemen who fought Union soldiers and sympathizers. They soon befriend others in the gang, including a former slave, but struggle with their beliefs as they fight in their Missouri homeland.
