Summary: An immigrant construction worker in Spain becomes a prisoner of his explosive temper in this "effectively atmospheric" (The Hollywood Reporter) film. After killing his foreman in a rage, Jose Maria takes refuge in the attic of the old house where his girlfriend is a housekeeper--unbeknownst to her. As he silently watches over her, the ever-simmering Jose Maria finds himself the captive of an increasingly hostile situation.
