Summary: When successful middle-aged boxer Octavio falls in love with morose young restaurant worker Hugo, they move from their small-town in the south of Chile to Santiago to protect their taboo relationship. A medical condition forces Octavio to retire and look for a new line of work, but when he learns that Hugo is romantically involved with a female co-worker, the heartbroken Octavio risks everything by entering the ring one last time.
