Summary: Sinister in the true sense of the word, this psychological thriller from Spain paints the picture of a family going slightly mad following its schizophrenic patriarch's death fall from a window. The three children reunite on the Canary Islands to remember him. What ensues is a somber reflection on who is to blame for each of their neurosis; Martin, Claudia and Gracia are each plagued by their own bouts with depression and the fantastical delusions about their lives. The "stripped-back" (Variety) approach lends itself to a disturbing interpretation, and leaves us wanting more.
