Summary: As a youth, Roy Munson (Woody Harrelson) stood poised to take the bowling world by storm...until a hustling scam orchestrated by oily fellow bowler Ernie McCracken left Roy without his bowling hand. Seventeen years later, Roy's an embittered drunk with a rubber hand and no prospects--until he meets Ishmael, a sweet-natured Amish man who happens to be a bowling natural. With "Ish" as his protege, Roy looks to redeem himself in life and at the alley...if he isn't "Munson-ed" by the ever-so-sleazy "Big Ern" again.
