Summary: "Mr. Bean goes 007" (Variety) in this riotous James Bond spoof starring British funnyman Rowan Atkinson as a screwball spy. Johnny English (Atkinson) is a small fry in the British Secret Service until his incredible ineptitude results in the deaths of every agent above him. With no one else to turn to, the powers that be have no choice but to promote English...who promptly allows the Crown Jewels to be stolen under his watch. But since there's no one else, it's up to English, his partner Bough and a pretty Interpol agent to stop the archvillain who is behind the theft.
