Summary: Truman Capote's life--specifically his trip to research and write the true-crime classic In Cold Blood--is the focus of this adventurous biopic, which follows the elfin scribe from the heights of New York society to the grim prison where the two notorious murderers of the Clutter family await execution. Toby Jones stars as Capote, whose pivotal relationships include both a close friendship with the frustrated Harper Lee (Sandra Bullock) and an uncanny bond with murderer Perry Smith (Daniel Craig). Also with Peter Bogdanovich, Jeff Daniels, Hope Davis, Gwyneth Paltrow, Isabella Rossellini, Juliet Stevenson and Sigourney Weaver.
