Summary: A trio of migrating mammals put the good times on ice while attempting to return a human baby to its tribe in this ultra-cool 2002 Academy Award(R) nominee for Best Animated Feature. Set during the onset of the Ice Age, the film follows Manfred the woolly mammoth and Sid the Sloth, two dwellers on the brink of extinction whose discovery of a misplaced child launches them on a mission to bring the baby home. They are joined by a saber-toothed tiger named Diego who vows to help the duo as they encounter various challenges along the way (deadly dodos!), but who hides a much more bloodthirsty agenda. Voice cast includes Ray Romano, John Leguizamo and Denis Leary. Directed by Chris Wedge and Carlos Saldanha. (PG) (V)
