Summary: A new kid must participate in a worm-eating competition cooked up by the school bully in this family film based on the popular children's book. Billy Forrester has a bully on his back at his new school--classmate Joe Guire. But a thermos of live earthworms sends Billy over the edge, and the battle with his tormentor escalates. Joe proposes a competition in which the loser has to wear worms in his pants...but first Billy has to eat ten of the slimy wigglers any gross way Joe prepares them: fried, grilled or pureed! Starring James Rebhorn, with Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Tom Cavanagh. Written for the screen and directed by Bob Dolman, based upon the book by Thomas Rockwell. (PG) (MV)
